The Round Mound of Rebound, Sir Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley was one of the most dominant power forwards in NBA history. Chuck threw his weight around the league for 16 seasons, earning 13 trips to the all star game and the 1993 MVP award. Barkley played for the legendary dream team in the Olympics. He wreaked havok on both ends of the court, and is one of 5 players to score 20,000 points and grab 10,000 boards. Barkley's jumbo size and shape match his massive personality. Barkley has gargantuan appetites that make fat guys proud the whole world round.

Chuck clearly likes to eat, and his cohorts on TNT Inside the NBA frequently tease him about his love of doughnuts. He is a legendary gambler and has owned up to losing at least 10 million dollars, including losing 2.5 million in a 6 hour run of bad luck at the blackjack table. Barkley had a reputation for fighting, and was convicted on a DUI charge in 2008. The reason he cited for running the stop sign that lead to the arrest? He told officers that he was in a hurry to get home because he was about to receive oral sex from his female passenger. While Barkley may have declared that he was not a role model, the Fat Athlete Hall of Fame would surely love to differ. You are a role model of swollen proportions in our book, sir Charles.
